The Sparrow is so sad. Though I’m not “officially” blogging, there’s no way I cannot talk about the untimely death of the great Michael Jackson. I recently told someone about the time c. “Off the Wall” when I wrote his name on my bedroom wall and drew a heart around it! I still remember knowing the ENTIRE Thriller dance and doing the routine EVERY TIME the video came on MTV! His music was the soundtrack of my childhood! I just can’t believe he’s gone. He will definitely be missed.

I’m feeling you on this E. It’s something to watch my kids throughout all of this. Although they didn’t know Michael like WE knew him, they at least know WHO he was and that he was someone really special in the music industry. I’m excited to watch the BET Awards tonite and all the tributes to him. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome and not to mention well deserved. The man is a total ICON!
